Help support the future of the folk arts

As a member of the English Folk Dance and Song Society, you will become a valued advocate and supporter of our mission: to preserve and promote English traditional folk arts.

We have over 3,000 members, based all around the world. 

As a member of the English Folk Dance and Song Society you will receive regular editions of English Dance and Song magazine, and the annual scholarly publication Folk Music Journal. 

Public Liability Insurance for non-commercial amateurs and hobbyists is included within some Personal and Affiliated Group memberships. Please read our PLI Guidance Notes for details. 

The English Folk Dance and Song Society is a Charity Registered in England and Wales, number 305999. 

 
Data Protection

As an EFDSS member you will receive membership publications throughout the year, unless agreed otherwise. You will also receive occasional communications directly concerning your membership.

By becoming an EFDSS member you are also giving us permission to keep you informed about relevant EFDSS activities, including occasional notifications about events and publications. If you would prefer not to receive these updates, you can let us know at any time.

We promise never to share your name or any other personal details with anyone else, unless with your specific agreement.
