Lift at Cecil Sharp House

Advance notice of lift closure at Cecil Sharp House

Between Tuesday 1 and Friday 4 April inclusive the lift at Cecil Sharp House will be out of service due to essential planned maintenance work. Please note that during this period there will be no step-free access to the building, or between floors, and at times there will be construction noise.


Work has been scheduled for a time when use of the building is low, but we appreciate that for anybody hoping to visit the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library (VWML) or the English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS) at Cecil Sharp House during this period it will be very disruptive.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
