Library reopens

We are pleased to announce that the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library is now able to reopen.

Our first day welcoming users will be Thursday 15 April. Thereafter, at least initially, we will be open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 4pm.

To ensure that we follow social distancing guidelines, the number of concurrent readers will need to be limited. We are operating a booking system: if you wish to visit, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. You can book a place for a whole day, or a half day, either 11am–1.15pm or 1.45pm–4pm. Please book no later than 5pm on the day before your visit.

If you wish to visit briefly to pick up or drop off a book, you do not need to book a time slot, but please let us know when you intend to do this so it can be arranged.

Cecil Sharp House is a Covid-secure venue.
